Prince  Sen,Dr. Ned Nwoko embarked on a trip to the South Pole as part of an expedition in January 2020 to raise awareness for malaria eradication, making him the first Black African to do so. He described the journey as a terrible but worthwhile experience, undertaking it in part to meet with scientists and explore solutions for malaria. His Antarctica expedition was followed by a national challenge inviting Nigerian creatives to interpret his journey through various artistic mediums
