Amotekun parades suspected criminals in Ondo Operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, otherwise known as the Amotekun Corps, have arrested two suspected kidnappers and armed robbers operating in the state. While parading the suspects at the headquarters of the Corps in Alagbaka, Akure, the Commander Adetunji Adeleye, disclosed that the suspects were arrested in Owo, the headquarters of the Owo Local Council Area of the state. Adeleye, who also stated that others were apprehended within the Oloko axis of Akure metropolis during a week-long clearance operation across the state, noted that the arrests were carried out by joint operations of security agencies in the state. Emmanuel (38) and Ibrahim (20) were apprehended for conspiracy, breach of peace, and possession of stolen motorcycles. Emeri and Moses were also arrested for allegedly aiding human trafficking and defrauding unsuspecting victims in Akure.”

EFCC drags suspect to court over alleged N4.3m rice deal fraud in Maiduguri The Maiduguri Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Thursday, arraigned one Abdullahi Aminu before Justice Aisha Kumaliya of the Borno State High Court sitting in Maiduguri over an alleged fraud involving N4.3 million. A statement issued by EFCC said the defendant was brought before the court on a one-count charge of criminal misappropriation involving the sum of N4,305,000.00 (Four Million, Three Hundred and Five Thousand Naira).
