Champions League draw: Four teams qualify for first time

Pafos FC from Cyprus and Norway’s Bodo/Glimt are set to make their first appearances, following impressive wins via the qualifying play-offs.

Pafos, who only came into existence 11 years ago, drew 1-1 with Red Star Belgrade to clinch a dramatic 3-2 win on aggregate.

Bodo/Glimt progressed following a 6-2 aggregate victory over Austrian outfit Sturm Graz, despite losing the second leg 2-1.

They will both be joined in the league phase by Belgian giants Union Saint-Gilloise and Kazakhstan’s Kairat Almaty, who sent Celtic out on penalties.

Kairat have become only the second Kazakh side to qualify after Astana in 2015.
