 Leave our party alone’ – Bala leads protest against David Mark ADC faction


Protesters on Thursday stormed the streets of Abuja, calling on opposition leaders such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and former Senate President David Mark to stay away from the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
The demonstration was led by the factional National Chairman of the ADC, Nafiu Bala, who accused the political figures of attempting to hijack the party.

Bala was joined by ADC House of Representatives member, Leke Abejide, as they marched with supporters carrying placards with various inscriptions.

Some of the placards had inscriptions such as ‘Woe to Political Marauders’, and ‘Hon. Nafiu Bala, We Stand With You’.

Dasleeknews recalls that this seems to be a counter protest after an earlier demonstration by the David Mark faction at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.

Petrol tanker crushes commercial tricycle in Delta, kills passengers A petrol tanker has crushed a commercial tricycle, killing all passengers on the spot. The incident occurred at Refinery Junction, near Effurun roundabout, in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
