 Courtesy Visit to the Olubadan-Elect, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja


 The Ekarun Balogun of Ijaye Land in Akinyele Local Government of Oyo State, Chief Adetunji Adeyemo, who also serves as the Zonal Treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) – South West and former Acting National Director of Finance at the PDP National Headquarters, Abuja, paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-Elect of Ibadan Land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, at his Old Bodija Estate residence.

Chief Adeyemo was accompanied by the Oyo State House of Assembly Member representing Akinyele Constituency II, Honorable Olatunde Kehinde.    

 
During the visit, Chief Adeyemo offered prayers for the newly elected monarch, wishing him a successful and impactful reign. He highlighted Oba Ladoja’s vast wealth of experience across diverse sectors, describing him as a beacon of hope whose leadership would further strengthen Ibadan’s historic reputation as the pace setter city, a title it has held since both the pre-colonial and post-colonial eras of Nigeria.


Chief Adeyemo emphasized that the emergence of Oba Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan Land would usher in an era of wisdom, progress, and renewed pride for the great people of Ibadan.
